"Christmas in Prunetucky" Tryouts!!!
Yup! That's the name of our program this year..."Christmas in Prunetucky" and yes, TRYOUTS ARE HERE!!!
Below is a letter about tryouts. Please be sure to read the letter thoroughly. It contains information about requirements and how students will be judged. Tryouts go quickly and I need everyone to be prepared.
That being said, tryouts are also a ton of fun and I LOVE this part of my job. The only part I like more is seeing your children shine on stage. Well, that and watching them transform before my very eyes and getting hugs and pictures and also...well, it's hard to say what my favorite part is. Let's just say that I love tryouts.
The script for students trying out for a drama part is located at http://www.storiestogrowby.com/script.html (The Pumpkin in a Jar). Please use that script and not another.
One other word: tryouts are not mandatory, but they are a lot of fun!
